Summer Time

Well it is that time of the year again, SUMMER TIME. The boys and I have been hanging by the pool, frequenting the park, and visiting the Tennessee River. Thus far it has been a wonderful and successful summer. The boys started school here in Knoxville, Kaden got his first haircut, and they have spent plenty of time with relatives. The even got to ride on a jet ski, I have no clue who the owner was but he was nice enough to ride them around after spotting them eying his ride.

End of the year picnic!

Trace's school had a end of the year picnic right before we left for Knoxville. The kids had so much fun. There was a cookout, games, and jump houses!

Trace's Last Performace's of the Season

Another performance today, as well as one tomorrow. These are the last ones until the fall so enjoy them! I posted three videos of today's performance. Trace kept moving around from riser to riser making sure I could see him. He started out on the bottom left..I think 3rd row-ish, but moved all over the place; he is wearing a blue shirt. Afterwards I took him to get a treat for doing such a good job, the choice..a Bakuball? It is some 10.00 toy that costs 25cents to make. It is similar to Pokemon. What its purpose is I don't know. All of the older kids have them though so they are all the rage. My little Trace is growing up. Next July he starts year round school...wow...at least Kaden will still be my baby..for now.

Berry Pickin'

Today we took the boys to a strawberry patch to get some fresh berries. It is right down the road from our house so we will have to go more often! They had chickens, pigs, tractors, berries, everything the boys love :) Trace even saw his friend from school, Lily.

Up, Up, and Away!

Today we took the boys to Goldsboro to see an air-show. The Blue Angels were there; Trace was so excited, they were his favorite part. Kaden's favorite part was the Stealth Bomber, it looked like something Batman would fly! I can't believe we were lucky enough to see it in action. They had a Pearl Harbor simulation complete with explosions, the boys were in heaven! It was a hot day and a long 5 hours in the heat but it was well worth it. They got to explore planes and all kinds of wonderful things boys dream of. It was hard to tell who had more fun though, Britt or the Kids :) I served as the photo taker, sunscreen applicator, wagon hauler, and water maid and let the boys have a wonderful time with Dad. At the end they each got a model of their favorite planes (the Stealth Bomber for Kaden and a Blue Angel for Trace). Enjoy the photos!

Late Easter Pics

Here is a photo of the Easter Bunny goodies and the egg hunt he left for the boys. I have never seen little feet run so fast. Trace would get one egg for himself and then get one for Kaden and drop it in Kaden's basket. He beat Kaden to almost all the eggs but at least he shared :) The egg hunt was the biggest hit; they were more excited about that then all the goodies he left!
